A brazen lie, according to the board, and they\u2019re not holding back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MCSK National Chairman Ephantus Kamau came out swinging, declaring the accusations \u201cbaseless\u201d and affirming that Dr. Mutua remains the ironclad CEO, steering the organisation with unshakable legitimacy.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe culprits behind this smear campaign are former directors, kicked to the curb on June 16, 2025,\u201d Kamau roared. \u201cThey\u2019re ghosts of the past with zero authority to speak for MCSK.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kamau didn\u2019t mince words, exposing the ex-directors as power-hungry opportunists peddling misinformation to destabilise the Society.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Their motive?<\/strong>&nbsp;A bitter grudge over Dr. Mutua\u2019s refusal to greenlight a jaw-dropping Sh200 million in alleged arrears they demanded as their parting gift in February.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThese are the tantrums of sore losers,\u201d Kamau sneered, noting that the same board had previously showered Mutua with an \u201cexcellent\u201d performance rating before renewing his contract for his stellar leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The current board, backed by the official CR12 records of the Government of Kenya, stands united in its praise for Mutua\u2019s transformative vision.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cMCSK is thriving under lawful governance and bold strategy, serving our members, rights holders, and stakeholders with unwavering commitment,\u201d Kamau declared.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe urge the public to ignore the venomous lies spread by these impostors masquerading as directors.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But the real fireworks came when Kamau turned his sights on the Daily Nation.
